Kousuke couldn't have imagined many places he wouldn't rather be. Perhaps it wasn't the worst experience, but the last thing he wanted was to be patronised or lectured. On occasions, Kousuke didn't mind people saying he was crazy, when it got him out of bad situations--he could promote that belief gladly, since it got him a better sentence, didn't it? But seeing a psychiatrist? That was unnecessary. He wasn't really crazy. He was sure of that. If he was sure of anything at all, it was himself, the only person he would ever believe in.
And so it was that as the door opens, without looking up, Kousuke says flatly, "If you think you're going to get anything out of me, you're wasting your time," with no attempt to conceal the venom in his voice.
