Hi murphy!! I saw this beautiful cat in a video and i got really curious abt her genotype. My guess its that she is maybe a point (diluted?) silver torbie

The stripes on her body are a bit faded/diluted than those on her face and tail, thats why i think she may be a point. Maybe you can correct me?

P.S. Tysm for doing these genetic videos. Thanks to them i've been really invested in genetic inheritance. Researching abt genes wasn't a hobby I thought i would ever get and enjoy but well,, here i am jsksj.

WOAH! I think you're spot-on, although I don't think she's dilute (the tail and forehead stripes look black to me, but that could be lighting). If she is black, she may be silver too (VERY pale forehead) - but again, lighting :3 DEFINITELY siamese tho!

{Can I ask you something? Sorry if it's too cliche, but how do you feel about the wasted opportunities with the diverse natures of the Norse gods in the movies? Are the any particular deities you wanted to see and never got them? p.s. as a sidenote, I adore you so very much, even if I fail to show it...}

Firstly, I adore you also and I grin every time you are around <3 Second, did you know you ask some of the most profound questions all the time about things?? And it’s the best??

Personally, I would have preferred it if the MCU would have gone more myth than comics in general, not only in terms of characters. I understand that myths are not ‘profitable’ or whatever, and that the comics is in fact what Marvel is known for. So it would not have made much sense to go all Norse pantheon saga bonanza for them, but like I said, that would have been my preference.

I suppose if feel especially the lack of any of the Vanir deities kinda annoying, but above all else, the lack of Sigyn, and Loki’s children for example, was a huge wasted opportunity. Not only because I love them in general, but in the grand scheme of things I feel mythical creatures have much more potential to feel as an actual threat, ya feel? Tell me what is more threatening to you, as a human being: a giant purple grape-esque very OP creature that kills off half of everything just because he has a god complex, and has a very blasé attitude about it to boot, or actual god-like creatures who not only are more ancient and more powerful than we can comprehend, but actually are linked to our world in a deep and profound way? There’s a sense of urgency and doom that you can’t avoid when dealing with beings that are from myths, at least to me it feels that way, much more than... random aliens tbqfh.

The thing is no pantheon, and especially not the Norse one, is black and white, good vs evil etc. And that’s something that’s not interesting to sell. Because it would blatantly show that we ourselves are very much not divided into good and bad people, and that the human nature is very much a sum of many things, parentage, experiences, social constructs etc. All in all, in general, every opportunity to showcase this in media is a wasted one imho, and esp within the MCU it’s painfully obvious how they avoided complexity like the plague.

In general, I would have liked to see more of the gods and the goddesses, even if its briefly, to showcase what they were about, what their characters are, and what they stood for. Thor’s story, beginning to end, lacked diversity in so many aspects, and I would have enjoyed more of anything when it comes to his world and the people in it. Then again, I’m a greedy idiot when it comes to him.

(( tbh it’s a travesty they went with the Thor and Lokis are bros storyline because Loki and Odin are a much more interesting dynamic in general. but that’s just my opinion
