so as someone who is EXTREMELY forgiving and understanding, literally to the point that it’s a flaw and i let people get away with things without consequences if i like them (which may or may not have fueled my five year abusive relationship But)

how do you treat someone who accidentally stood you up? like they’re really sorry and they’re gonna make it up to you bc they got their days mixed up, and it’s literally the second time you’re meeting them but they ruined your favorite day of the year, and you’re seeing them again

idk how to proceed bc my past reactions have always been to smile and be like it’s okay and move on

so i was gonna go to the halloween parade tonight with a girl and it started at 7:30 and we were gonna hang out first so i was waiting in costume for several hours for her to get here and i texted her like are you almost here and she's like ? i'm at home and i'm like the parade? and she mistook the night. then mom came home and i told her about it and she immediately hates anyone who mistreats me bc i have a history of an abusive relationship, so she hates this girl now. and i cried a lil bit and mom's like WE'RE GOING TO THE PARADE and it was over but we saw the costumes and got chipotle

halloween is a Big Deal to me bc it's always been my favorite holiday and since graduating college i never have things to do bc i don't have friends or events to go to
