took a moment to go back to this menace to society. its been so long since I drew him that I changed to an entirely different method of shading LMAO

but yeah, have this gremlin. he could absolutely just illusion an image of peach to catch mario off-guard, but man goes the extra mile and just fully dresses as her- and mario falls for it every time - sometimes, quite literally.

(he would not pull this trick so often if Mario didn't react so explosively to it everytime. it never fails to amuse him.

Was rereading Phantom Interference again and the thought struck me, how would the Marios react if they saw/met Luigi?

Like, would it be relief that their missing child was aliveish and grew up loved? Dismayed that Luigi regularly helps terrorize the Mushroom Kingdom? Judge him for being half Boo? Or. Would they (mostly) accept him and insist that he and his father join them and Mario for a family dinner and 'catch up/bond'?

Nah your alright! Honestly, its actually SUPER flattering! I'm so glad that you've enjoyed the au that much! I do intend to continue it! My hyperfixations just wandered off of it for a while, and then my mental health caught on fire when I was getting close to working on it again, but I'm not gonna leave it unfinished! I've still got plans set up for it, and I already now how the next chapter is gonna go, I just. gotta get to writing it.

Luigi and Bowser absolutely abuse the fact that Luigi can easily pass as a VERY convincing Peach. Mario absolutely hates it though.

hello! A question about your au because I'm obsessed with it, do luigi and the koopalings (and junior) get along? do they do things together or can't stand the attitude of the half boo?

they get along great actually! He might act a bit stuck up sometimes, but he IS still a boo- mischief flows through their ghostly veins, and the Koopalings love getting up to some shenanigans! Not to mention it helps that he's been delegated to Babysitter more times than the guards can count- Kamek is too old to chase down little troublemakers (though he definitely tries) Before the Bowuigi in the AU starts, they all call him 'Uncle Lui'. Whenever Bowser and/or Kamek is busy somewhere else with running the Kingdom, they go and Harass their Uncle for whatever they need- let it be general advice or a bedtime story (or help with some pranks, but they usually go to him for that anyway)
