Hoooo well I’ve got over 200-some OC’s in general, so I can’t tell you about ALL the OC’s, but I’ll tell you about all the Phantom Run ones, anyway!
Kisa Aburame is the protagonist, a “runner” who catches ghosts in her mp3 player and turns them into music. She’s half-Japanese and lives with her aunt Devi since her father was convicted of murdering her mother - even though she saw it happen and knows a ghost was behind it. Kisa is laid-back and gets along better with adults than with kids her own age. She likes rollerblading and music, frequently skips school, and is asexual.
Thomas doesn’t have a last name yet. He’s a tall, dorky guy who ends up befriending Kisa after finding out that she’s been hanging out with the ghost of his childhood teddy bear. He plays guitar and likes video games, and he has no special supernatural gifts whatsoever. He’s a mama’s boy.
Saiph doesn’t have an actual name, just his nickname. He’s a bartender and another runner - though he isn’t active anymore. He used to use a martini shaker to catch ghosts and turn them into cocktails. Now he owns a bar and feeds Kisa information on ghost sightings. He allows her in the bar even though she’s a minor because he’s an irresponsible adult. He is also the one who taught Kisa about being a runner, so he’s kinda like her mentor. He’s super cool and Kisa really looks up to him.
Twir has gone through some changes recently! Twir is now trans, which actually makes more sense because when I originally came up with the character in a dream they were a girl. Twir is homeless, but often stays at a safe and accepting youth shelter. Kisa burns CD’s of the music she gets from ghosts and gives them to Twir, who sells them for a little bit of profit. Twir is self-conscious and she often has long conversations with Kisa about her worries and anxieties.
Thaine Alsaeth is the bad guy. He owns some weird kind of apothecary/curio shop, but he deals drugs on the side. Drugs made from ghosts (he’s also a runner, but I’m not sure what his vessel is. I’m thinking a hookah pipe, maybe). I actually keep getting really frustrated trying to decide what I want to do for his design…
Lewis (Psyche) and Soma are thieves and lovers. They’re not runners, but they do have supernatural powers. Soma has the ability to transfer a person’s soul into an object, and actually often does this accidentally. Lewis has enhanced ghost perception, but I’m trying to figure out an additional ability to set him apart from the runners. Soma is a somewhat dimwitted goofball who loves life and likes pretty clothes. He’s almost always in good spirits, which often serves to annoy his partner. Lewis is serious and usually crabby, constantly worrying about things because Soma refuses to. Despite being thieves, the two aren’t bad. They actually first show up trying to rob Thaine’s shop and things turn disastrous for them. They may or may not get their own spin-off story at some point.
Cory and Rita are two jr. high girls who are best friends and happen to own pairs of tennis shoes possessed by a skeletal warrior and dragon ghost, respectively. The two ghosts are at war with each other, and at night they possess the girls and have supernatural fights in the middle of the city. They’re two of the bigger ghosts in the story, and major adversaries for Kisa - the ghosts, not the girls. I actually don’t know a lot about the girls themselves…
Teddi*Maru or “Cabbie” as he was called when he was Thomas’ teddy bear, is a ghost teddy bear that Kisa befriends while trying to catch him. He tells her his tragic story and she is so moved that she agrees that she won’t catch him and will try to help reunite him with his owner. He’s playful and not very smart, but he has a big heart despite being the ghost of an inanimate object.
Devi is Kisa’s aunt. I don’t know much about her except that she’s Kisa’s mom’s little sister and is pretty hip. She’s really lenient with Kisa, but always there to listen to Kisa’s problems. She knows about the whole ghost thing, but doesn’t really understand it.
