Do you mind if I ask how you came up with Danny/Dick Grayson
You know I really wish I could take credit for coming up with Danny/Dick but I’ve been lowkey following Danny Phantom Dc crossovers for a decade.
Phantom Bat fic idea that’s way too long: Casper The Friendly Bat
So basically, Dick goes undercover at Casper High in order to get to the bottom of what exactly what is happening in Amity Park. Honestly, the town’s a mess. The league is more than a little concerned and no one knows exactly what the deal is with Phantom. Reports are mixed and the jury is still out on whether he’s friend or foe.
Dick…would rather be anywhere else. Gotham Academy was bad enough, Casper high is the stuff cheesy high school movies were made from. There was a literal hierarchy based around jocks, come one. Yes, he might be the best choice for the mission but that doesn’t mean he’s the most well adjusted. He not so secretly hates his teammates for this.
He’s fully prepared to spend his first year of high school friendless, in the middle of nowhere, deep undercover gathering what “so help me God, better be vital intel”. Batman better thank him. When he bumps smack dab into Danny.
Dick is just about to help him up to when, oh well, wouldn’t you look at his luck. There’s the box ghost. Dick tries to chase after him. Danny is not having that. It’s a good thing the box ghost can be trapped in the thermos without much issue.
“How’d you-”
“My parents are ghost hunters.”
Speed up a bit to lunch and Dick’s sitting alone. Nope! Friends who trap ghosts together stay together. Which works out perfectly, Dick has the chance to study ghost hunting up close. He has an in.
He might come off just a bit too eager. Sam may be convinced he has a massive crush but well, you pick your battles in life, you know.
So Dick sticks to Danny like glue. By extension, Dick sticks to Tucker and Sam like glue. It’s nice. Sometime Dick really will have to introduce everyone to each other. Zatana and Sam would be deadly together.
Dick can’t actually tell anyone why he’s in Amity park, he also didn’t get his story straight and has made up at least five different tales. Somehow, Dick’s backstory becomes a running joke, along with his ghost obsession.

Just!
Group Bonding, the puns. The pranks. The mayhem. Like Dick’s arguably the most component of all the sidekicks the first season of Young Justice. Sure you could argue Kaldur out stripes him but, leadership aside, Dick is scarily efficient. Danny and co. would take one look at this scrawny kid who just showed up one day and started running after the ghosts and collectively decides that he must be protected.
Dick and Tucker bonding over coding! That would so be a thing. Like I want those two to hack the Justice League computer just for kicks. I want that so bad.
Jack and Maddie love Dick. He’s interested in their work! He actually asks to spend time in the lab! They can not drop enough hints to Danny that this is one a keeper.
