The first time Kon meets Damian, he’s reporting for Robin Duty™.

He doesn’t have an opinion on Damian. Not a substantial one. Tim has mentioned him in passing and so has Jon, but his introduction to the Batfamily came at a bad time. Between being dead, off world, and Tim M.I.A, first contact hadn’t happened for them yet.

Kon feels a little bad—that the first time they lock eyes happens to coincidentally be the same moment he finds out that his best friend has apparently quit his mantle. He feels Cassie’s hand on his shoulder, steadying him as Nightwing makes introductions, and explains that the former Robin Tim has decided to step back.

☺️ The wing prints left by a hunting owl looked so incredibly beautiful that they immediately gave me Destiel vibes🤩

Sadly, burnout meant I didn't get around to drawing it until summer, lol. But I think I needed that time, because I finally managed to bring it to life exactly the way I imagined🥰

For those wondering about the fox. Grace has a subtle motif with this animal throughout the movie, but especially this shot where they pack this toy fox with his belongings on the Hail Mary.
