Mood: hyperventilating from all these posts by cast members counting down to when they fly to Manila.

I didn't think I'd still be here to blog about this! I was reading back to my old posts (and cringing honestly I was a baby) and seeing the things I would have done differently and I'm honestly scared like what if I don't get to do everything and I'll regret it for the rest of the World Tour and forever (as I did in the past, this is one of the reasons I dislike Manila getting first dibs I don't get much prep. Granted! They are here for the first quarter of 2019) One of my frustrations was that I didn't get to see the show as often as I liked but NOW they moved the venue to somewhere much farther (like 2 hours away from me?) and the tickets are not cheap. So I'm still figuring it out. :||||| ANYWAY this is nevertheless an exciting start to 2019 and I'll do my best to bring quality WT posts up here.

The gala performance was great. ‘Christine Daaé’ of the night was no Sierra Boggess of course but damn can she (Meghan Picerno) hit those notes! I feel, however, that the staccato in the aria could have been executed better. ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ (Jonathan Roxmouth) on the other hand, wow. He was amazing! Dubbed as “God’s Gift To Musical Theatre”, The Phantom Of The Opera is indeed a wonderful musical and a treat to watch but somehow, Wicked, still owns my heart.

Oh, and mum doesn’t want to have photos taken with the motif/background because it was too macabre for her liking. Too much candles, lamps, blood red roses, red curtains, and gold framed vintage mirrors, and yeah, people wearing masks.lol
