Inside the Life of a Pharmacist
Some people don't realize what it takes to be a pharmacist. It takes more than I thought for sure. I have always wondered while usually standing in a line waiting for my prescriptions, what it actually entails to become a pharmacist, is it similar to that of a nurse or a doctor?
The pharmacy area of your local drugstore or supermarket is often relatively calm. Pharmacists and pharmacy techs in white lab coats fill orders, give instructions, and give patients their medications that have been prescribed by their doctors.
But the job is more complicated than it appears. Dispensing prescription drugs is taken very seriously, and pharmacists who work in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, or grocery stores must go through many years of schooling and careful training.
So what are some of the requirements working as a pharmacist?
