Hi🥹thank you for taking so much time out of your day to make the educational content that you do, and to answer our questions. It’s super duper helpful and also interesting.
I’m wondering what the thoughts/interpretation are of what placements could signal someone working in tech, as like an engineer or something similar in tech?❣️
Hello love! Thank you so much for your words. ❣️
Working in tech or engineer according to the chart
When we want to explore potential jobs we can aspire to, it is important to check points such as MC, 6th house, 11th house and Saturn.
MC is the point of excellence for this, as it is directly related to our professional life. It is one of the most important axes in terms of what our path requires for our comfort and success in the workplace. It directly shows the areas in which we can work.
Following this, we encounter another Earth House, the 6th House. It is also of great importance because it speaks to our work and work environment. In this house, work ethic, purpose, and service are intertwined.
The 11th house can be enriching, as it represents income. It can show us through which activities and jobs we can generate money. This is because it is the 2nd house of the 10th house in the derivative system, which refers to resources (2H) that we obtain through work (10H).
I think it's best to take a look at Saturn, because the sign and house it's in can give clues about your professional life given its relationship with long-term plans, responsibilities, and that area in which we gradually grow.
I would also like to add Rising, as it greatly influences the path we decide to take, both in terms of studies and work.
Now to answer your question, according to The Rulership Book published by the American Federation of Astrology, technology is ruled by Capricorn, Aquarius, and Uranus, and engineering is ruled by Uranus and Mars.
We can analyze different branches of engineering if we take into account what this Rulership book shows; here are some quick notes:
Electrical engineers are ruled by Uranus and Aquarius. Having Uranus and/or Aquarius in 10H, 6H or 11H could show this. Similarly, harmonious aspects between Saturn and Uranus, and even having Saturn in Aquarius, can give this professional inclination.
Industrial engineers are ruled by Saturn and Capricorn. Therefore, any of these in the aforementioned houses can provide clues. Saturn in Capricorn or a strong Saturn placement may indicate a higher probability of this.
Mechanical engineers are ruled by Mars and Gemini. With this information, Gemini Mars, Gemini/Mars over 6H, 10H or 11H could lead to work in that field. Personally, I have met some cases in which Gemini risings study mechanical engineering and work in their field.
Metallurgical engineers are ruled by Uranus, Aries, and Jupiter. Having any of these in the previously mentioned houses or aspecting Saturn could lead to it. Jupiter or Saturn in Aries could also lead to it.
For Tech, we have the following data:
As such, technicians are ruled by Aries and Virgo. Having either of these two signs in the 10th, 6th, or 11th house may indicate a predisposition to work in those fields. Saturn in these signs also suggests this possibility.
Technology is ruled by Capricorn and Uranus according to the book; I would add Aquarius given the passage of time. Uranus in Capricorn or Aquarius, Saturn in the sign or house of domicile, or harmonious aspects between Saturn and Uranus can indicate this professional inclination.

Peridot would DEFINITELY be a furry, almost all technicians are furries so why not!?
“Paradosfunctionoracle” is the term used by technicians to describe the reason no one knows why your computer won’t work.
