Too young to own a Pharmacy
Right now I’m in a bit of dilemma on choosing to own a pharmacy or be an underpaid employee in a company/hospital/institution.
I am now unemployed because I recently graduated from my post-grad studies and it has been a month. I was so used to being busy and not having a lot of free time, and let me just say I’m so not used to this. My parents and I, since last year we have been discussing of putting up a pharmacy in our village which we think was a good location and its now on going for construction but then something got me thinking. Owning a Pharmacy is a big deal! You got your time on your hands, you control everything and you are your boss. There are some perks when you’re the boss obviously! But at an age of 23, I don’t think I’m destined to own or manage a pharmacy just yet. Yes! I would love to, someday maybe in my early 30s but not while I’m still young and I think I need to learn a lot more before I can handle people and manage my own to have a successful pharmacy in the future. Its a growing and evolving profession, I can’t just be drifted away and left behind. I’m still grinding and striving for that fulfillment or satisfaction when I’m practicing my profession, even though we pharmacist don’t to earn much here and get appreciated too, I still need to be exposed more to experiences and events that could help in the future.
While writing the above paragraph, I thought of a decision. Funny thing is that by blogging it, it helped me decide. Well what about that. :)
I may be backing away from blessing but I think I need to be more patient.
