November 4, 1922 - Entrance to King Tut's tomb discovered
"British archaeologist Howard Carter and his workmen discover a step leading to the tomb of King Tutankhamen in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.
When Carter first arrived in Egypt in 1891, most of the ancient Egyptian tombs had been discovered, though the little-known King Tutankhamen, who had died when he was 18, was still unaccounted for. After World War I, Carter began an intensive search for “King Tut’s Tomb,” finally finding steps to the burial room hidden in the debris near the entrance of the nearby tomb of King Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings. On November 26, 1922, Carter and fellow archaeologist Lord Carnarvon entered the interior chambers of the tomb, finding them miraculously intact.
Thus began a monumental excavation process in which Carter carefully explored the four-room tomb over several years, uncovering an incredible collection of several thousand objects. The most splendid architectural find was a stone sarcophagus containing three coffins nested within each other. Inside the final coffin, which was made out of solid gold, was the mummy of the boy-king Tutankhamen, preserved for more than 3,000 years. Most of these treasures are now housed in the Cairo Museum."

Atem always hated coming here. Because it was always stupid magic bringing him here. To where the Atlantis Royal King was. He recalled the other times he’d been in a situation like this, commanded by Magic too..
It was like his steps knew where to take him, eyes locking on the King form and muttering. “Dartz...” He hated this.Second time? Maybe? He took that hand. “It’s only magic..” Atem clearly hissed out before kissing that hand once again, they both knew it was a sign of loyalty that it was a sign of pledging oneself– and it sickened the Pharaoh.
Eyes daring to close as lips pressed onto the hand gently pretending it wasn’t that madman but like he was touched by burning fire he was straight again and stumbling backwards. This time unlike the others, clearly flustered and scared of what Dartz's reaction would be. What comment he’d say. ( command magic again >>)
Another one? Another one of these false kings playing the games of magic simpletons. He growled and got extremely irritated just by the sight of him. Fingertips drumming on the desk he was next too, deep in thought before the door opened - while it was someone he wanted to see, he was annoyed that it was not on his time.
Standing up and observing the other begin to kiss his hand, the respectful act of one loyal to a king. Hand quickly snapping and grasping at his chin before stumbling away "You think these silly games will continue? That i'll allow you all to keep walking in here?" Pulling the card form his pocket he activated it so it swirled around them before drawing out the famous symbol beneath their feet "I'm. going to take what belongs to me."
Atem blinks, ah Zorc woken up not what he had..planned. "Hey." Noteing the tired look though he gos and gets a blanket and then re enters the room to place it on the God. "...You seem tired today." Planning to maybe let him relax.
"Just a bit tired, nothing to worry about." He sighs a bit before he actually sits up. "So what brings you here?"
phraohs
*Atem daring to steal a kiss on the lips because zorc might not notice--
He stirs after the kiss is delivered to his lips. His eyes look hazy as he looks to see who did that. “Huh? Oh hey.”
He staring..he doing that alot lately. "Are you calling my friend an ugly dog?"
"Oh, hey Mutou's Win Condition. No, I'm not calling him an ugly dog, I'm calling him a butt ugly dog."
BOOKS TO CELEBRATE WOMANS HISTORY MONTH Book Title: When Women Ruled the World: Six Queens of Egypt By: Kara Cooney Description When Women Ruled the World: Six Queens of Egypt This riveting narrative explores the lives of six remarkable female pharaohs, from Hatshepsut to Cleopatra--women who ruled with real power--and shines a piercing light on our own perceptions of women in power today. Female rulers are a rare phenomenon--but thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, women reigned supreme. Regularly, repeatedly, and with impunity, queens like Hatshepsut, Nefertiti, and Cleopatra controlled the totalitarian state as power-brokers and rulers. But throughout human history, women in positions of power were more often used as political pawns in a male-dominated society. What was so special about ancient Egypt that provided women this kind of access to the highest political office? What was it about these women that allowed them to transcend patriarchal obstacles? What did Egypt gain from its liberal reliance on female leadership, and could today's world learn from its example? Celebrated Egyptologist Kara Cooney delivers a fascinating tale of female power, exploring the reasons why it has seldom been allowed through the ages, and why we should care. #purchasebook Moonbokers https://bit.ly/3vFe2v0 @amazon https://amzn.to/2OSLVYL @barnesandnoble https://bit.ly/2PdIOKz #ancientegypt egypt #pharohs #sixqueensofegypt #hatshepsut #cleopatra #nefertiti #womanofpower #patriarchal #femalepharohs #humanhistory #history #historylovers #books #mustread #reads #booklover #reader https://www.instagram.com/p/CMnyn0vsiPe/?igshid=1ha2dz26727d6
Here is a lineage of civilization i had seen somewhere and remade. Civilization is that which supercedes the ways of nature. And begins to identify as a group or grouping of people. who mutually work to benefit eachother.
