pharah/zarya headcanons pt 1:

they’re both very low-key about their relationship. pharah is just like that, but zarya is in the public spotlight, and doesn’t want to make pharah uncomfortable.

that said, zarya is very very affectionate and warm and wants to gush about her amazing girlfriend all the time. if you’re close friends with her she will always have something to say about fareeha.

they both work in security in a way, so they don’t get to spend holidays or anniversaries together most of the time. when things are quiet on the front, aleks gets enough time off to dote on fareeha a bit.

they absolutely go to rock shows together when they can get the chance. they share a love of rock and metal, and introduce each other to a lot of lesser known bands from their hometown provinces.

fareeha sees pictures of aleks with piercings, before she got involved with the war, and she absolutely swoons. she makes zarya promise she’ll get them again when the war is done and they can settle down.
