LOGAN COULD FEEL THE SENSATION OF FATIGUE begin to burn into his muscles, feeling the ache in his bones. If he felt this, then surely THE GIRL would feel the same, if not worse. The simulation was perhaps too much for someone as young and as inexperienced as Kitty Pryde. Yet it was Xavier who wanted Logan to train her, hell it was his idea to pair the both of them together, despite the protests Logan had in Xavier's office earlier. Regardless, he took the opportunity to observe what Pryde was made of. If she was going to be trained under Logan’s hand, then they’ll train his way.
THE SIMULATION HAD SHUT OFF, LOGAN STILL CATCHING his breath afterwards, a steady stream of sweat rolled down the side of his temples. “Your footing is off,” he said finally between huffs of air. “You attack too late,” Logan paused once more. “And you’re unaware of your surroundings.” Blunt, yet honest critiques. His intention was meant well, though his dislike for the situation had disdained it, and deluded his true meanings. Besides, with his gruff exterior that’s as cold and as solid as steel, it was troubling for anyone to guess what Logan’s true motivations lied.
“WE GO AGAIN IN TEN MINUTES.” HE SAID. “And we won’t leave until you’re able to complete the first obstacle without faltering.”
