The Human World of the Little Mermaid Klance AU

Lance is the youngest of five children and prince of a seaside fishing kingdom

His family/kingdom is famous for their fleet of war ships, which are the strongest and fastest in the world

But since the kingdoms are currently at peace they’re mostly used for fishing

There are five ships total, each lovingly named by the kingdom’s five crowned princes and princesses

Lance got to name Blue and it’s his favorite

As the youngest of five Lance very rarely has to leave the kingdom for important royal business, unlike his siblings who are almost always off traveling the world

But they often spoil their youngest brother with gifts from their travels, one of which includes a larger than life statue of Lance himself, which he immediately loses

Lance doesn’t really have to worry about royal responsibilities, so this gives him plenty of time to just hang out around the castle and the residing town

He often pulls hunk away from his duties to explore the town with him(and to ogle at the many pretty men and women)

They met as children when hunk’s mom brought him with her to work in the kitchens and they’ve been best friends ever since

Hunk was later promoted to head chef after his mother retired and moved back into town

Hunk hates leaving his post in the kitchen, but he’s very weak for Lance and will often drop everything with very little convincing from Lance

Allura is the royal advisor, but acts more like a caretaker for Lance

She overseas all his princely studies and will accompany him whenever he wants to travel farther than the seaside town

When she first came to work for the king and queen Lance was absolutely infatuated with her

But being several years older than him(and essentially being his main caretaker) he eventually grows out of his crush and the two are now close friends

Lance is very often found wandering along the coastline, being very fond of the ocean he spends most of his time on the beach

truth be told I’m actually not the biggest fan of the little mermaid, but I love mermaids and I love klance, so in the end it works

you know, i like the "dying college kid" jokes as much as the next person, but could someone please tell me something good about college cause im constantly on the fence on whether or not i wanna go and hearing something positive for once would be pretty nice

i wanna get better at making animatics but I need actually good editing software, preferably for free cause I don't have a single penny to my name and that doesn't add that awful watermark, any suggestions?

the only reason people are saying my human shlav is basically shance is cause my human Slav design looks like Lance and honestly if y'all think Lance is the only person allowed to have dark hair and skin then y'all need to seriously rethink your priorities
