Ok but what if
Phasmo games are canon to empires. Every once in a while, random groups will pause whatever conflicts they’re in to go hunt ghosts in weird locations with strange buildings and futuristic technology. Whenever they play phasmo with anyone outside of empires, they just meet up with them at the location, except if it’s the phasmo gang, in which case Wilbur will roll up to Scott and Shrub in the ranvan with Jack passed out in the back. No matter where they are or how isolated they are, Wilbur finds them. No one knows how Wilbur actually gets onto empires, or how he always finds Scott and Shrub without fail. He just Does.
Scott Smajor is an immortal being that keeps encountering his friends’s reincarnations, and he’s impressed but not surprised by what they’re doing every time he finds them. That witch from the coven that built a death parkour is a 10 foot tall eldritch axolotl hybrid now? Shit dude, he didn’t know Lizzie liked swimming. That dude that was part of a ghost hunting group with him is a literal ghost that burns in sunlight and can walk through walls now? Oh damn, that’s pretty neat. His friend that pulled off a 1v3 in the Minecraft Olympics that he’s in charge of runs a death game where one of his husbands died? Absolute girlboss moment.
