Looking back at college, Olivia still wasn’t sure how she made it out alive. She had failed so many tests, so many assignments, and paid so many people to do her work for her because she just wasn’t good at it. But somehow, she ended up graduating anyway. She wasn’t sure how that was possible, but she strongly considered her parents to have played a part in it. Maybe they knew more about her awful grades than they let on, more than she wanted them to know anyway. But alas, all of that was stuff of the past now. She was done, and she didn’t plan on picking up a job right away. No, she intended to celebrate, and to her surprise, her parents had decided to rent a house in the Hamptons for her to go away with some friends -- as long as she promised to take her brother with her.
Seeing as Olivia and Theo had always gotten along rather well, she didn’t mind that. Plus, he did have some hot friends. One of them in particular, who she used to have an awful crush on before she left for college and forgot about him thanks to plenty of other people warming her bed. Just her luck that Theo decided to invite him out of all the friends he had. It was the first morning in the house, and Olivia woke up far too early for her own liking. Everyone else was still fast asleep, and the sky outside was still bleeding red, dark rather than light. But seeing as she couldn’t sleep anymore, she put on her silk robe over the flimsy negligee she wore for sleeping and moved downstairs to get some coffee and food in the kitchen. As she stepped through the doorway, she was surprised to see that she hadn’t been the first one with this idea. Arms folding over her chest, she leaned against the doorway and watched her big brother’s best friend with raised brows, hoping she looked cooler than she felt. “What are you doing up so early already?”
