it seems like E is pretty useful/important for getting the skills relevant to jobs. plus even if classes don't teach you anything STEM has better signalling for a lot of stuff
i just figured people who followed me would know that i wasnât talking about signalling
also [civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.] engineering and programming are probably the closest thing to actual trades, so that makes sense. even then, in computer science i feel like i got most of the relevant material from about two courses and the rest were the sorts of things that would only help if i got into a really specific career path
