I’ll have a big focus on Phenomaman and Urgotians as a whole because I love speculative biology for alien species, and if I can tie that into a fandom, I might as well.

How many bad food experiences do you think Phen had to have before he finally figured out a Food System on Earth. A safe foods list.

(Picturing him at a fancy dinner with Blonde Blazer, his beautiful girlfriend, and having to open his mouth to let the food fall back out onto his plate because he can't eat the sauce on the steak or something and he just figured it out.)

Oh I don’t think he ever is able to have a finished list, unfortunately. Lots of food in the world. I think he’d have times where he’d think he’d have a safe food but because it isn’t a (common) human allergen it wouldn’t be labeled on a package (like the way it’s noted if a product is processed in the same building as peanuts). It takes a lot for him to understand English words for things too, considering that I doubt ingredients in a list are taught as basic vocabulary.

I will add that a.) I imagine that most of it got done before he was ever in a relationship with Blazer, let alone a hero. Kind of have to eat every day, so he’d learn quick. b.) Personally don’t think he would EVER let something fall out of his mouth like that. 9/10 times he will grin and bear it and complain of stomach pain for the rest of the evening.

Do you think Phenomaman would like Minecraft?

Yes and no?

I don’t think he’d have much interest in it on his own, especially with how isolating the game can feel at times and the lack of obvious direction. I don’t think he’d like exploring by himself or feeling so weak, either, so he’d probably just build in creative mode if anything.

However! If he was introduced to it by, say, the Z-Team, he would absolutely love it. I think he’d kind of become the team guard and would fight off monsters while everyone else is building/mining. He’d be the first one to get netherite gear because the team wants their bodyguard to be as equipped as can be! They’d also send him on BS fetch quests and give him all of their treasure maps and he’d somehow find everything they asked for.

No one knows how he does it.
