Firebrand is still alive, just in hiding just like in the events of DITF. Although after the disaster he started wandering around what was left of the old Inpherno trying to help anyone he can even if it means from afar, like giving the Inphernals medicine for their sick (Ichor).

He still doesn’t feel ready to face Dom and Valk.
