Hi so I love Zero Escape with my entire soul but I feel like there's a ball and chain of sins I have attached to me because of it for the sole reason that I used to ship Phigma before it was revealed that Phi is Sigma's daughter. You have no idea how much I used to love these two together but now I have this inescapable truth that I have to carry with me for the rest of my life

It’s been 4 years but I still hate that Phi is Sigma’s daughter...

Not only because... yeah I used to ship them (rip my phigma heart) but like, i cannot picture them having a father/daughter relationship, maybe a brother/sister one but... it doesn’t help that VLR sigma flirted with all the girls. Including Phi so... it’s just freaking weird man. Even in the promo they made a joke of him looking at her butt.

Not to take away the “arc” from D-team, or discredit sigma x diana, but I would have much preferred if Phi had been Akane and Junpei’s daughter.

I feel like it would have created a connection between 999 and VLR - which I especially like because the series originally began with Akane and Junpei. For Phi to be related to the two that started it all... i just think it would have been neat. 

(Also Aoi has white hair so you don’t even need the “I actually have red hair” reveal from Phi)

I know it doesn’t matter and I’m just complaining about a finished series.. but yeah, thank you for coming to my ted talk.
