July 3, 2021 - Silver-crowned Friarbird (Philemon argenticeps)
These large honeyeaters are found in northern Australia. They feed on nectar, invertebrates, fruit, and seeds, often gathering in flowering trees and sometimes foraging with other species. They build deep bowl-shaped nests with thin walls from bark fibers and strips and spiderwebs. Females lay two to three eggs and incubate them alone.
