Yeah, it is kinda Hitchhikers-esque, with a dash of Futurama whilst being a British sitcom. While still being really sc-fi at times. Seems like it’d be your style. Series are 6 eps each (for the most part) and they have a studio audience.
There are 10 series so far (they’re still going!), so get stuck in! :D

1. Which country do you live in? The USA! Upstate New York, to be exact.
2. Something that made you laugh like crazy most recently: I went out to a show with an old friend last weekend and consumed lots and lots of beer. The magnitude of our giggling was probably shocking to bystanders.
3. The main reason you fell in love with your favourite tv show: Life on Mars, how can I even count the ways? There was never one reason; I think it might have been tumblr that originally urged me to watch (due to posts by some fabulous person that I follow or another), and I was sucked in right away. I tore through the series and straight through Ashes to Ashes, re-visited Life on Mars and decided I would settle down and stay with Sam and Gene for awhile. <3 My other favorite, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I have a much longer history with (it started airing while I was in high school). It was the magic of Netflix streaming that finally sealed the deal a few years ago. ^_~
4. One song that you keep on playing again and again in your head: I've had 'Reach for the Sky' by Social Distortion stuck in my head for THREE DAYS. Also my iTunes has been against me lately, assaulting me with songs that easily become lodged in the brain such as 'Who Are You' by The Who and 'Charlie Don't Surf' by The Clash. *Bangs head against wall*
5. Got any allergies? If so, which kind? Lots, though thankfully no food allergies. Cats, Dogs, Dust, Birch Trees, all sorts of stuff. They used to be so severe that I was given four injections a week and had to take allergy medication. I must have built up an immunity over the years, because they don't bother me at all now! 6. Your dream job: I wish someone would just pay me to travel around and write about things.
7. Your dream domestic animal: I'm generally a cat person, but it has been suggested recently by some work colleagues that I should have a pet hedgehog. I would also like a red panda! <3
8. Tell me about one of the weirdest dreams you ever had: I've had some real doozies over the years, but recently I had two that were really bizarre. First I dreamt that I had a spaceship powered by cheeseburgers (that was AWESOME). Then a few nights later I had a dream that I met a talking baby bear on the subway. It was sad, so I gave it a massage. Then it took me to its house to meet its parents. They had a lovely brownstone in a respectable neighborhood, and it was a pleasant afternoon with a light spring breeze. They did not offer me porridge for lunch, much to my surprise. Who, me? No. Not crazy at all! 0_o
9. What are you most proud of of yourself? I don't know… *resists urge to brush off question with joke answer* I guess I'm glad that I haven't grown to take myself (or life in general) too seriously as I've gotten older. I have no intention of caving into societal pressures of settling down and becoming a 'responsible adult' anytime soon!
10. Your idea of a romantic evening with someone special: Nothing fancy. It would probably involve something very tasty to eat and a significant amount of high quality alcohol, followed by a healthy dose of physical contact. *smirks mildly*
11. Internet is down for 24 hrs all around the world. What would you be doing? Reading a book, playing Nintendo, going for a walk, hanging out with friends, and… drinking heavily? ^_^

Roman Polanski’s Carnage. Can’t believe it took me this long to watch it.
3. The main reason you fell in love with your favourite tv show:
I stood here for quite some time, trying to figure out which is my favourite tv show. I didn’t find an answer to that, but I can tell you the main reason I like a tv show is: good writing. Good as in being both an unpredictable script and having well-written, well developed characters, such as it happens on Luther, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly.
4. One song that you keep on playing again and again in your head:
I usually have a different song stuck in my head each week =p This week, though, it’s “Hand of Fate”, by The Rolling Stones.
5. Got any allergies? If so, which kind?
Surprisingly so (what with my medical history), none that I know of.
6. Your dream job:
Writing movie reviews, be it for a newspaper or a magazine
7. Your dream domestic animal:
Just a cat, probably.
8. Tell me about one of the weirdest dreams you ever had:
Oh, I have tons of those! I remember a particular one, in which I was running through the woods, and I had the feeling I was looking for something, but I didn’t know what. What makes it a very weird dream was that it was all in shades of brown and green, and it had a very unique atmosphere. At the end, I came to a cliff, and there was a river below. I remember jumping, and then…waking up. Rather abruptly.
9. What are you most proud of of yourself?
Hm. That’s a tough one. I guess it would be not caring, in a way? I used to keep quiet about a lot of things – personal tastes, personal opinions on subjects like religion or politics -, so as to avoid upsetting other people. I learned, with time, to stand by my opinions and value them – and speak my mind, if I feel like it.
10. Your idea of a romantic evening with someone special:
It’s gonna be boring XD, but just a quiet evening in a restaurant/bar somewhere, just the two of us talking – people should talk more, discuss things. That is very important to me, I’m interested in the thoughts of all people I care about, knowing their ideas and beliefs matter a lot to me.
11. Internet is down for 24 hrs all around the world. What would you be doing?
Well, considering the piles of books occupying every inch of my room in this moment, I’d say I’d have no trouble killing time ^^
