22 tips for batch 2022!!

Because August 1 is just around the corner, here’s 22 tips for Batch 2022! I hope some of you find this before the school year starts. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. :)

1) Handy Pisay Lingo: Flob- Front Lobby Blob- Back Lobby Caf- Cafeteria Reqs- Requirements UB- Universal Break Gaz- Gazebo Graz- Grand Gazebo SHB- Science and Humanities Building aka Main Building ASTB- Advanced Science and Technology Building GRHM- Girl’s Residence Hall Main BRHM- Boy’s Residence Hall Main Libe- Library

2) Here, it’s not ball is life, it’s FRISBEE IS LIFE. So learn how to throw and catch a Frisbee.

3) Don’t forget to eat or sleep guys reqs are important but your health is important too.

4) Especially for the dormers, it can be hard to adjust so of you need help don’t be afraid to talk to us upper years we’re really nice promise you can message me here or look for me I’ll listen. :)

5) PE will be hell don’t worry you’ll get used to it :)

6) Balance your studies. Make time for your hobbies. Reqs are important but you need to make time for everything in your life

7) Do your reqs guys please I can not stress how important it is please DO NOT procrastinate JUST DO IT

8) If you need help with anything (or maybe just support or even food), you can ask me. Just look for Ate T23 :) (my old class number. sorry I’m just not comfortable with posting my name here)

9) Share your reviewers guys there’s no competition anymore

10) Watch your clubs don’t go overboard. I suggest only three to five clubs unless you can handle it.

11) I understand the culture shock you may get from Pisay, it’s okay, you can talk to me pm me or look for me I’ll usually be around the line or in the girl’s dorm

12) Go to confession every thursday at the BRHM ask a friend to come.

13) I highly recommend going to your batch recollection :)

14) Bond with your roommates and/or classmates. :)

15) The Milo and coffee in the co-op is 17 pesos okay bye

16) Also, I’d recommend using binder notebooks and getting a clear book/folder/extendable envelope for all the papers and handouts and failed long tests the teachers will give you.

17) Bring lots of 1 by 1 ID pictures for the first day you’ll need them trust me.

18) Also bring white lined index cards you’ll need that too.

19) Dengue uniforms need khaki pants, so get them before the school starts.

20) Go to open house!!!!!

21) Don’t cram the Paskorus guys. Just don’t.

22) Last but not the least, don’t forget to have lots of fun!!!! :)

Orientation Day!

Today was the orientation day for the new freshmen at Philippine Science High Schools Main Campus! It was a lot of fun, and if you are interested in taking the NCE this year I assure you that if you pass, you will have a totally awesome high school! Your Ate's and Kuya's will always be there for you. However, a dark little surprise will wait for you at the end of the day, but sorry, it's a secret for now! The whole orientation was very welcoming, and we did a lot of exciting activities and games. I'm so excited to see more of our school!
