Just in. A set of 19th Century Ash country chairs. These have an abundance of stretchers, eleven in total, the front one is ring turned, but rather worn in each case. I like the twin stretchers running from front to back, an unusual detail. The rush is old but not the original. I think I have seen these attributed to #philipwebb some time ago, but realistically they are more likely to be traditional #sussexchair examples from Sussex.
