Random thought experiment: Would Weak Hero characters get along with a clone of themselves?
Gray: Half and half. It's established in canon that Gray would probably be friends with Donald (similar personality) if they had met earlier in the timeline. The study group bonding between Gray and himself is unmatched. On the other hand, Gray, especially Middle School era Gray, might be more closed off towards himself due to how anti-social he is by default.
Ben: Yeah. He's a simple guy. He's capable of being friends with anyone as long as they're not assholes. It's wholesome Big Ben energy multiplied by two; what could go wrong? Might jovially butt heads over their competing big appetites though.
Phillip: Probably not. His ego is fragile enough that he wouldn't actually get along with himself. He picks on Rowan for also being a "shit-talker", when he recognizes his own behaviors in Rowan's bravado. As much as Phillip has built himself up with his mouth and money, he isn't really impressed with himself. They would compete for who can have the greater status.
Jimmy: Kinda. The story emphasizes many times that Jimmy is full of himself. Unlike with Phillip, Jimmy is genuinely impressed by his own accomplishments, and would at first get along with his clone just on the basis of "He's Me." But their mirroring huge egos would eventually get into a fight about it.
Wolf: It's on sight. He would fight himself immediately. His own three second rule would work against him—he's not the type to look away first, he intimidates other people into doing so. The fact that it's his clone doesn't matter in the slightest. But since it's himself, he'd probably have fun fighting once it starts.
Jake: Maybe? It's hard to say with Jake. He'd have a comic buddy with the exact same tastes, at least. But as much as Jake doesn't have a huge ego to get into trouble with, he would also never be fully open with himself. As much as Jake acts like he's an easygoing guy, he's actually rather closed off, around other delinquents and his friend group, but in different ways. A clone of himself would probably fulfill both categories.
Haii hope you’re doing alright. May I request Phillip Kim x reader? Maybe Phillip watching reader during their boxing match after telling reader he wouldn’t come and reader ends up hugging him after the match.

your phone was propped up against your ear using your shoulder, your fingers making quick work of your shoelaces. the call gets picked up and a smile stretching onto your lips when you heard the familiar voice. "yeah?" you turn to grab your duffel bag, voice coming out quick, you were already running late. "hey, you coming to the match tonight? i'm about to head out for my warmups"
the other end is silent for a while, muffled voices talking on the other end while you step out of your apartment and lock the door, the key jingling as you fumble with it. "nah, can't make it"
your lips tug down in disappointment, your brows furrowing. "..alright, see ya" you hang up and stuff your hands into your jacket with your earphones plugged in. sucking in a breath you decide to not let disappointment won't affect this match, even though it was him.
the bright white lights are focused solely on the ring when you step into it, a blank stare focused at your opponent from across the ring while your coach speaks to you from the side, giving instructions and little reminders about the match. you're already covered in a sheen of sweat from the warmups when you're both introduced. a quick bump of your gloves before getting into position, you let out a sharp breath as the referee signals the start of the match.
the start is explosive, with your opponent throwing a punch that you dodge. the crowds loud cheers and screams fall on deaf ears as you focus solely on the opponent standing across from you. the blood was already rushing in your ears when you take your first hit, a heavy kick that lands on their calf and you can see their jaw tick when they falter.
the crowd is buzzing with excitement, loud cheers ringing out as he slips in and finds a seat in the audience. the match has progressed far enough that evidence of several painful hits are visible on both you and your opponent. his hands are clenched when he sees you tank a hit and he knows you're gritting your teeth enough to hurt around your mouth guard.
his shoulders drop and he visibly relaxes when ear-piercing cheers erupt around him, you stand above your opponent with chest heaving from your heavy breaths, your body glistening with a mix of sweat and blood of both your own and the opponent lying on the ground in front of you as the lights shift to focus on you. the referee grabs your arm and holds it up and another round of cheering rings out around him. your lips stretch into a smug smile as you wipe your face with your forearm. he can't help but scoff at the arrogant look on your pretty face.
he's squeezing past loud groups of people while you're stepping out of the ring. your coach gives you a tight hug before you hand them the mouth guard and gloves. you don't even notice him standing near your bag as you're surrounded by praise and encouragement, your features bright with pride and adrenaline all the way up until you reach him.
he frowns when your eyes meet because all you do is laugh in disbelief. "well look who's here" a bright smile stretches onto your lips.
"surprised?" he tilts his head and openly stares, the bright lights illuminate your back as you approached him. his eyes roam your face, the sight of the blood smeared on your skin and dried around your lip and nose make his brows furrow. your smile looked pained up close, the bruises around your eye and cheek finally showing.
his expression relaxed when your arms wrapped around him, you were warm and sticky but he hugged you back without hesitation, properly bringing you into his embrace before stepping back and running a hand through his hair. "let's get dinner"
"oh wow, and here i thought you weren't even gonna show and now you're taking me out" he grabbed your bag and walked down the hallway with you towards the locker rooms. "be careful or i might think you like me"
"fuck off" he scoffed out with a roll of his dark eyes as he walked behind you, though he'd rather die before admitting it, his face was warmer than you felt earlier.

During Baekjin (Donald)'s funeral, everyone in the Union was devastated. But the most devastated was Seokhyeon (Kingsley), who found it hard to accept that he really had to prepare the funeral (oh my god how unfair this world was to these kids).
Whereas Dongha was in tears, while Seongmok, Sehan (Forrest) and Jongyeon (Jack) were too stunned to process the tragedy, Hakho (Jake)'s kindness shone the most during the funeral. In a quick understanding of the human vulnerabilities of the once-omniscient Baekjin and the immovable Seokhyeon, he managed to support Seokhyeon like a friend (and no longer just a fellow executive of the Union) would.
In the meantime, Jihoon (Jimmy) was coping with his belated realization that, true to his name, all he had ever wanted was to be acknowledged by someone as strong as Baekjin (Jihoon's name means "The Will for A Merit/Recognition").
To every Union members's surprise and indignation, Humin (Ben) showed up at the funeral, against his friends' advice. Always being genuine and generous (this is also true to the part of his name that means "genuinely generous") , he was paying respects even to his bitterest enemies.
Being perceptive of the role that Sieun (Gray), and Humin & co.'s in trying to get help for Baekjin that night, Hakho later talked to Humin outside the charnel house. He even asked Humin how Sieun fared, and unfortunately he hadn't showed up to school, and so hadn't Juntae, according to a flashback to Taeoh (Teddy), Juyang (Rowan), Gayool (Gerard) as they talked at school. (WHAT...)
From a hill behind the charnel house, we saw Hwangho and Seongje (Wolf), paying their last respects, or rather, saying a badass goodbye, to Baekjin.
Elsewhere in the city, Sieun woke up and washed his face. But his own reflection taunted him, calling him the seed of all misfortunes since he had caused Juntae, Suho (Stephen) and even Baekjin so much unhappiness. (YOU'RE NOT THE SEED OF MISFORTUNE. YOU NEVER WERE, SIEUN. THIS IS ONLY YOUR OWN DEPRESSION TALKING!)
Sieun couldn't forget Baekjin's last distraught face and words, as he was standing alone and wounded on that road before the tragedy happened. All that Sieun wanted was for the memories to stop but they wouldn't. He tossed and turned in his sleep, beset by the nightmares.
Meanwhile, to Jihoon's frustration, there were already talks from Seokhyeon that the remaining finances of the Union would be evenly distributed, meaning that no further activities would be made in the name of the Union. He understood however, that everyone was still in shock, although he wondered why "that bastard" Hakho spent so much time with Seokhyeon.
Hakho told Seokhyon straightforwardly that it was Baekjin's last wish to dissolve the Union, but to Seokhyeon, it was only right to respect Baekjin by maintaining the Union and only temporarily halting its activities. He refused to accept that this was where Baekjin ended up. (Learn to let go, kid, it's not good for your health).
It wasn't just the Union members' moods that was somber. It turns out that Humin, Hyuntak (Alex/Gogo) and Pilyoung (Phillip) went to the funeral, too.
Hyuntak and Pilyoung didn't go into the funeral house because Hyuntak was only worried about Humin, while Pilyoung was too overwhelmed by his own emotions.
The other Eunjang kids were gloomy too, especially class 1-5 whose two students still hadn't returned to school. Juntae had regained his consciousness (YESSS) but Sieun went off radar completely. So Humin decided to come to Sieun's house after visiting Juntae at the hospital, and the others agreed. (The fact that only Gayool knew Sieun's address broke my heart, Sieun had never really opened up to his new friends. And Humin, you're such a precious human being).
Hyoman (Colton) & co. found Pilyoung, and thought that he looked cooler than Humin, standing alone. But Pilyoung was actually privately grieving Baekjin's death and worrying about Sieun, as he realized that what he was missing was not the Union itself but the sense of companionship. Only Hyuntak knew about this as he found Pilyoung crying in a Dorim street alley the other day. (My goodness I love these small details. ALSO PILYOUNG YOU DECENT KID YOU).
Somewhere far at Donghae Beach Rest Area, a Byeoksan Middle alumni (EDIT: Jihwan a.k.a Jeremy. Also, REMEMBER that he went to Suho and Sieun's middle school) spotted someone that he thought he knew...
Whenever I say that Taeoh (Teddy)'s and recent Jimmy (Jihoon)'s development are my faves, I seem to forget Pilyoung's. This dude's development is so ahead of the curve. He, unbeknowst to himself, had been steadily gaining the respect of his former enemies: the thing that he used to look for in the past.
