“Got something to say, Kingscholar?” You crossed your arms, one brow raised as you fixed him with an unimpressed stare.

Normally, you’d step aside and invite him in. But Leona Kingscholar was grounded—banned from entering your dorm for an entire year…Or at least until you got over it, which, admittedly, probably wouldn’t take that long.

“You didn't came to see me after I woke up,” he grumbled. His tail was curled around his thigh, though the tip flicked impatiently against it. “Didn’t even answer my texts.”

“So?” you replied smugly. “I was simply respecting the hierarchy. And besides…” You tilted your head. “What exactly are you doing here?”

Leona gave you a look that clearly conveyed just how ridiculous he found that question, but before he could answer, you continued.

“What would your girlfriend think about this, huh?” You kept a perfectly straight face, even as his ears flattened.

“…What?”

“I heard she’s really pretty. And scary.” The corners of your lips curled into a grin as embarrassment slowly crept across his face. “Wouldn’t she leave you if she caught you hanging around another woman?”

Leona dragged a hand down his face, utterly incredulous that you’d chosen to tease him instead of pretending the entire incident had never happened, which was what he’d been hoping for.

“…You done?” he muttered, sulking.

You smiled, satisfied, before stepping aside to let him in.

AZUL ASHENGROTTO

You had every intention of pretending the whole incident, your boyfriend forgetting, or rather confusing, your face, had never happened. Mostly for the sake of his mental well-being.

Unfortunately, the twins who spent most of their time around him did not share your mercy.

Every single time Jade or Floyd brought it up—and they brought it up often—Azul looked like he wanted the floor to swallow him whole, no matter how many times you scolded them for teasing him.

Jade glanced over from the corner of the room, immediately straightening his posture. He cleared his throat politely. “…I believe I should be going. I suddenly remembered I need to clean the glass on my terrarium.”

After the rather unfortunate rejection you’d suffered the day before, you decided it would be best to give Malleus some space and wait for the effects of the accident to wear off completely.

You leaned over the sink, humming quietly to yourself as you washed your face. Drying your skin with a towel, you opened your eyes and let out a startled scream.

Malleus immediately turned around as well, assuming you’d been frightened by something else. Realizing your surprise was directed at him, he placed a hand over his chest. “I sincerely apologize for entering without permission… especially after committing such an unforgivable offense—”

You rubbed your eyes, briefly wondering whether you were still asleep, or hallucinating. "What are you..."

“I understand!”

“…Understand what?”

“That my presence has become unwelcome.” Malleus bowed his head, his tail swaying quietly behind him. “I behaved irrationally yesterday. I failed to recognize my own beloved… but even worse…” He lowered his gaze. “I rejected the gift you had chosen so thoughtfully, with my preferences in mind.”

You scratched the back of your head. “Malleus, I was much more worried about your condition than what happen—”

“If you choose to bring our promising relationship to an end…” Your eyes widened, “…I ask only that you reconsider with kindness. If granted another chance, I swear such a mistake shall never happen again.”

“Malleus.” You placed your hands on his shoulders, “Where on earth did you get the idea that I’d break up with you over something so silly? I—” Before you could finish, his arms wrapped carefully around your waist, gently pulling you into an embrace.

Almost instinctively, your hand found its way into his hair, your fingers absentmindedly playing with the soft strands, “You seem much better today.”

He nodded against your shoulder.

Happy 10th anniversary to Mystic Messenger! I sketched my three babes quickly for the occasion, but I hope to properly render these sketches when I find time.

I feel very emotional right now, I found these drawings from 2017. I think they are the oldest mysmes drawings i have saved and I still find them very cute. Back then Ray route wasn’t even released yet, so I’m not sure where my first drawing of him is.

From what I remember, I first downloaded mysmes in 2016 summer but my english was basically nonexistent back then so I deleted the game after not understanding a thing lol. Then, in 2017 i downloaded it again right after V route was released. I remember the game opening screen being a CG from V route that had young V and child saeran specificially. The account I made in 2017 is the one I still use now. (The achievements are embarassing though haha i still dont have most endings unlocked)

When I first played Casual Story, my first route to go for was Yoosung. I used to LOVE cute boys and honestly yoosung might be the reason I was so obsessed with the idea of marrying a really cutesy man when I’m older and always talking about this dream throughout middle school. Yoosung was literally my type back then and he still is what my type in fictional characters are hehe

I didn’t really like Zen much back then (I do now! Even tho he’s still not my fave :p) so I think my second route was Jaehee. And oh, how should I describe it. She really was my gay awakening even though I still wasnt awakened yet haha When I played Jaehee route, I was completely in love with her. I used to think “well, I don’t like real girls but my feelings for Jaehee really are real! I have romantic feelings for her!” and thinking about Jaehee really gave my heart a squeeze. And it’s really funny thinking about this now cuz turns out i’m the complete opposite lol I’m a lesbian irl but still like both fictional men and women in otomes !!😅

To no one’s surprise, I loved Saeyoung’s route too. I was completely destroyed by the twins story and I still have a picture of little Saeyoung and Saeran making a promise CG that I printed out back then kept safely in my folder. I hated Rika and disliked V after playing the route and secret endings. (Not much to say about Jumin route, I also loved him but he just was never my focus!)

As a whole, mystic messenger literally taught middle school me how to speak english and text with friends online... I even learnt the acronym "lol" from seven. And when I replayed casual story sometime ago I was horrified to realize how much of my texting style was similar to Yoosung 😭 What you consume at 12 really sticks with you huh

Anyways, another route was already released but I never saved up enough hourglasses to play it. That’s why even though Ray route was released in 2018, I didnt get to play it until 2019 summer. Towards the end of the summer an older sister I met on discord gifted me her mysmes account, filled with hourglasses. So finally I got to play Ray route and it made me feel the most intense emotions I felt for a game. There’s a lot of Saeran fans who dislike his route blah blah blah but for me it is what made Saeran who he was and it was such a well written rollercoaster of emotions. I was head over the heels for Saeran and he’s still my fave since then, even though both yoosung and Jaehee are pretty close seconds.

After Saeran route I played V route and unfortunately ended up hating him— I started liking Rika by then but my hatred for V grew more and more as I played V after story 🥲 Until I replayed his route back in 2024 or 2025 I always hated him to the point it became an inside joke between my friends that they would show me V pics to make me annoyed 😭😭 I like him now tho! After my replay with a more mature mind I think i could see his perspective better and I realized how similar are the ideals we have about love and life.

In 2020 Saeran AE finally came out and it was a crazyyy time to be in the fandom. Everything was so new and exciting~~ And after playing the AE, I got my first ever unintentional Bad Ending HAHA Before, I was literally heartbroken and had a hidden thought that maybe I dont deserve Saeran if I can't give him a happy ending? But I quickly found out that getting saeran AE good ending was really hard for everyone so it wasnt my fault (I still cant get the GE if i'm not using a cheatsheet lol)

During 2020-2021 my friend was making a story for our OCs that had yoosung and saeran in it as well, so I frequently drew them but my friend was only cared about Saeran so I usually drew him paired with her OC and Yoosung with mine~ But well, even though I was drawing them I stopped playing the game for a while and prob deleted it bcuz of storage issues. When I wanted to play it again sometime in 2021 I realized my -gifted- account was gone and I couldn't recover it no matter what. It was huge deal for me back then and made me not play the game for a few years.

But in nov 2023 I decided to play it again with my older account! And being 17 with a credit card now, I realized I can just buy hourglasses lol And I found out that during that time the prices for Turkish android ver were VERY CHEAP. Apparently, the game didn't make the prices based on USD and instead kept the old prices for every country separately so because of the inflation in Turkey, the prices were so much cheaper compared to the USD version. For example from a screenshot I found; in 2024, 100 hourglasses meant 3 USD, but it was 7.49 turkish liras which was approximately 0.03 USD back then HAHA but they changed the prices and it's the same as USD ver now 🫣

Either way, I was able to unlock Another Story again and some DLCs too so I spent the first half of 2024 drawing mostly mysmes~ It was when I made my own mysmes-sona Elvan as well.

In general, mystic messenger has been part of my life for a long time and it's a game i will always adore. Even if I dont play the game frequently, I'm always listening to its OST, and I keep remembering the characters through small moments in my life. With any fan I talked to, they said the same thing: RFA felt like real people in a chatroom, and they felt like family. It's amazing that what was essentially a visual novel was able to become a real part of people's lives through its innovative game interactions, story telling and beautiful themes. Thank you to all of original Mystic Messenger developers, writers and voice actors 💖

He was was thrown to the portal without saying goodbye to you which a bit sad, he wanted to tag you along since you already been to the graveyard and show the same level or curiosity he have. But the cat could only dust himself as he look around the place. His technically at the entrance. Not far from him was the beautiful plain that he saw the fluff from before that was lost. Then saw the intimidating and eerie place in the other side. It was really a bother to go in this location. It was too gloomy for his taste.

Yet, he walk inside as he can't really finish this job and go back to where you are. In this place where death reeks he saw pink petals of flowers that shouldn't be found here, then the scent of grass and tree hit his nostrils. Soon as he curiously walk toward the deeper end of this place, he saw plants, grass, a coffin and a pinkie.

'a kohaku oukawa???' he question to himself as he approaches but he saw the view closer and realize how beautiful this place is, especially the face he knows this shouldn't be here. Unless your someone who could alter this realm beyond the boundaries of the worlds, time and space. Which is something even extraordinary one can't do.

"wow! That look so beautiful!" He finally spoke when his quite close to him which lead to the pinkie to be surprised and alarm by his presence but in the end. He seems fine and okay by him.

Hiiwo wonder if bee think his a friend too since he don't end up trying to kill him like that senior of his does to almost everyone he meet That is not the core. It's quite a surprise it was the one he saw at NN corner where he have a list of pinkie that he keep shooting bullets for. It was a sight. He honestly think this fae is the most nice one he meet from CH au.

The rabbit is not nice either, core is a bit an odd ball, NN is obviously is not that nice either, that chubby rabbit looks delicious but is not allowed to be eaten sadly cause it also have a bad attitude and have bitten his hand multiple times when he said how juicy and pump it is.

Honestly no one in his work place is that nice either be from chau or not. They all treating him like a child or worse an air if not a dummy for a new things they discovered. It was a good thing he meet you which means he finally have a good buddie with him that treat him as an equal.

Thinking about you, he suddenly remember he have a job and was about to leave on his own since he don't know what's bee up too. Nor he have time to stay around. Your little cat that's curious like him too, he don't know what type of thing you'll come across in the gallery! He better be around to experience those tragedy if ever~ since you two are friends~

"wait—... Omae!?" he notice someone being throw his direction and sense it's core and went to dodge cause he better stay inch and more away from them or else one of his nine life would be taken away by a scary cotton candy senior of his. "..." Thinking about it. Since this person is here. He might as well give the bill. "Hello, Overseer want you to have this—" just as he give them the paper. He felt that someone is looking at him. He and Bee stared at the location where that gaze is and saw someone staring at all of them at the edge.

"What is that?" He question the one who come from that direction which is core who is being carried by bee. "Plot type of shit." Sometimes core seems to ruined the fourth wall so freely. As expected of a fae. The person looking at them disappear before they can view what it is clearly. "was that..." Bee was about to say something when core shut him up.

"shhhh.. no spoilers. It's not fun beside I was just playing with him cause his a bit grumpy. Beside this is the wrong side to mention who it is. Do you want this poor cat to suffer that type of plot?" Core seems to worry about something no one cares about at the moment. "you dot. See me openly complaining about you doing it your own to make a plot happened for us!!" Bee complain about how his spouse seems to have favoritism. "Aren you openly complaining now?" Core was given an angry look by Bee who drop them to land on their butt.

"Waaa!!! You mean you!!" Core complain and the other just rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue in annoyance. While all this happened, Hiiwo watches wondering how his going to give the bill but while he stared at them he did notice someone watching from the three that bee made. Someone wearing a mask. Bee seems to notice it too but the figure was gone when he turn to look. "Was someone there?" He question and hiiwo just stared at the bill in his hand and decided to just give so he could leave already.

"Here you go this is for senior NN And byeeee." He give it and run away cause he stayed too long in this place the effect is taking over his body. His color already green !! This is so bad!! The dye to change back is too expensive! He left before others can react about him being green.

It's really something else when he comes back to this dark and gloomy place. Even with all those event that occured to him and understanding those frozen crystalized alternative people won't be a ghost. He still felt unsettled by them.

Bee, stared at familiar pinkie frozen inside a crystal. The flower he brought with him seems to be heavy more than he think about the memories of this person: I brought you flowers. It's from Sakura tree near the house.

Putting the branch he taken and placing it to the front of the crystal. Staring more for the crystal, he really don't like how it looks in this place. This place doesn't look like a graveyard. He wish it be more fitting for blood.

He reach out to touch the crystal then from the branch from the ground, the root sprouts out and the tree is grown in rapid speed before long be watches as the tree bloom pink and grass grows beneath the three as the crystal change into a glass coffin. Such beautiful resting place for his dear friend.

After a moment he found himself breathless and tired cause of the magic he did was too much for someone like him who barely does those type of spell.

But staring at the beautiful coffin and the place that seems beautiful in this world of end. he felt it's not so bad at all.

???, spoke from behind him: wow! That look so beautiful!

He turn around to see a hiiro amagi staring at the scenery. But this hiiro id glitching out every now and then, his hair turning different shade of red and blue for a moment.

Hiiwo, smiles: I'm a hiiro amagi but you can call me Hiiwo. Since we both know where far different from the original. What about you?

Hiiwo: oh it's the guy in the stabbing board of senior NN

Bee did not know if he should be surprised there'd a stabbing board of that cross dressing other haft or the fact there's actually a Junior working with that fellow that call him senior.

Now you felt that's kinda funny cause he too have a baby ( kinda) but it's not with his spouse. How the irony makes you want to laugh but wish to not die as NN might hear you laughing at him.

"......" The angel look at your direction with a glare as if he can read your mind, you quickly hide behind hiiwo who look at you and then to NN and mofumofu. "Senior, please don't scare My friend!" He ask the other who narrowed his eyes looking at the red haired like his thinking if he should deal with coworker but as he think of that, the chubby one in his arms tagged his hair catching his attention and the little one pointed at the incoming Morpho who's seems to be furious about something.

NN who finally realize what's the perfect option at the moment disappear from where he once stood as the overseer arrive with what seems to be bills.

"Where is that fae?" He question hiiwo and you whos looking at the zero and digit you saw the glimpse of from the paper in the overseer hand. "Sir, he left just now with the moth.' hiiwo doesn't seems to see that his not suppose to rat out his senior to the boss who's clearly furious about something that the fae did.

".........." The long silent from the overseer have trigger some fear inside of you and you hide behind hiiwo even more, fearing you'll be spotted and yelled at, even so you don't do anything bad. The blue haired butterfly sigh before he compose himself, thinking that the problem won't be solve if he let his anger get the best of him. "Since your here. You might as well be use and go find that fiend." He give hiiwo the paper his holding earlier. "It's either you find him or go find the spouse of his." In a way, that person is bound to appear more in the second option.

"I understand!" The red haired traveller is quite thrilled to go out again and when his about to turn to you a hand stop him in his track. "don't bring that along. Where your going is not safe for that to go." The overseer seems to speak of you like your not someone but something. "She's my friend!" Your friend did not like those words either. He seems to be mad for you too. "yes, isn't the main reason you shouldn't bring that along?" The boss rolled his eyes as if his just talking to a child who seems to not understand anything what he just said.

"It be safe as long I'm with her!" He don't want to part ways even a bit from you. It made him feel anxious and worry for you. "Don't be dumb. As far as I know it won't be safe where the location of that core right now." The butterfly sigh for the nth time. "There's currently a problem at a certain location and they were there to check it out."

He knows what's going on in between worlds but he can't freely roam as he like. If he can, why would he bother ordering people around? Especially incompetent one that did nothing but trouble or those who could barely do their job perfectly unless bribed with paychecks? Laughable. "Leave her here and just come back once you give this bill to the core." A portal appear behind the overseer.

"remember: No matter what happened, do not untangle yourself with a mess you cannot handle. Run away like a dog with its tail between it's legs." Then hiiwo was grabbed by the collar and thrown to the portal and it disappear without much words of goodbye. You stood there fearfully looking at the owner of this place, wondering what will become of you.

Upon opening your eyes, the blinding sight of the setting sun greets you

Your eyes sweep side to side, the feeling in your fingers seemingly coming to life but also not. You can't seem to actually move your body, that is, until your ears pick up his voice

Just as darkness envelopes you fully, you jolt back awake in your bedroom. Unaware of the full context and content of your dream but that..Aching feeling, like it was something big, or at least, something you shouldn't have forgotten couldn't leave you for the whole day

"I hope you won't get bored of me anytime soon, Bunny."

"Because I have a lot~ more fun things planned."

"Oh~, how badly I want to do them now! Please come visit me soon. I promise we'll have sooo~ much fun together. ♡"

Yeah, so remember how I may or may not have posted several times about turning this into a manga comic fic thing? Turns out, I'm a total coward. I'm gatekeeping it now and just posting the fic version instead ♡

Reasons for my Cowardice 101

1. I am NOT ready for that ugly ahh to be exposed out in the open

2. My irl friend saw some of the works I made, so I went on a tangent bc I never rlly show my art to anyone but some people online, and I exposed the fact that I post them bc I panicked and slammed my hand to cover my handle, and they were like, "Is it Patreon?" which, obv, no, bc I wouldn't have been crying over not getting Lohen if I had my own source of income no matter how little it may be, and they went, "Oh, Tumblr" to which I tried to be confused by answering, "Huh, Tumblr?" And maybe hopefully dodged that bullet. I was surprised when they immediately went to the Tumblr option, but it's probably bc they know that I don't use X or IG at all and they know that I'm a weirdo, so..yeah. TLDR; I'm scared that that irl friend who saw my works + the Lohen comic will find me and I'll be officially exposed as a fanfic writer and allat

And also bc I wasn't satisfied with the paneling, and I was having second thoughts on what "Y/N" should look like since I drew it as Fem! bc I was quite literally the model for it (and some of Lohen too), while doing the hair, I was like, "Oh, wouldn't you know it, this looks like my Genshin yume thing. She even has the signature braids." So I then considered just taking "Y/N" off and just making it all Lohen, Lohen, Lohen. But if I did that, then I would have to add on the parts that I didn't bother drawing or already erased bc "Y/N" was there to cover it, and I'm a lazy ahh bum who didn't want to do that. <- "Lazy ahh" but I tried to remake it all from scratch and spent almost an hour working on it and quit

BUT. Since I also don't want to waste those precious hours spent, maybe some of them will show up in a different Lohen fic. If I ever make one again. And one that's actually worthy of this man bc wth is this

I'm most satisfied with the panel for that "Wtv you say, bunny" and "I hope you’ll dream of me again tomorrow" (<- This one is like the BIG PANEL. I tried to put more detail into this panel specifically, and it includes Lohen and "Y/N"), so those are the only ones I'm more willing to show

All the knights in the Fifth Company feared their vicious Vice Captain, who dared to take on even the most vile of enemies in one-on-one combat with reckless abandon. None thought it possible, but after their return from Nod-Krai, there soon became a figure they feared even more. This individual was an enigma, one which the likes of the Knights of Favonius had never witnessed before. She had a small footprint, an even smaller list of achievements, and not a single badge of honor to her name. Yet whenever she cleared the room, men bowed their heads, and none dared to look at her twice.

Of course, this person was their resident librarian.

“Bun!” the Vice Captain chirped, running towards the woman with his arms extended wide. “You came to pick me up, didn’t ya?!”

Ursula and Gunther exchanged a look. When the Vice Captain came within range of this fearsome female, they held their breaths.

The woman raised her hand. Without missing a beat, it slapped straight across the Vice Captain’s face.

Smack! The man’s head whipped to the opposite side of the impact—a startling display of the power behind the woman’s blow. Ursula and Gunther cowered, holding one another as they dared not to gasp.

“Let’s go,” the woman said brusquely, holding her palm out to him.

The Vice Captain was nothing but giggles when he placed his hand in hers. As the two trotted off, hand in hand, their Vice Captain being pulled like a dog on a leash, neither Ursula nor Gunther uttered a single word. After all, when it came to the only person who could tame the likes of Vice Captain Lohen, they would rather endure his special training ten times over than attempt to engage in dialogue with her.

“...How was that?” you asked Lohen awkwardly. “Did you like it?”

“Fuck yeah,” Lohen replied, his lips curled into a grin. “This means you’re gonna beat me tonight, right? I’m so fuckin’ excited.”

“Can you…not say it like that?” you asked, wincing. “I mean, I got everything you asked for ready, but…if you keep walking around telling people I beat you, they’re going to avoid me even more than they do now!”

“But you do beat me!” he chirped. “A consensual beating is still a beating, sweetheart!”

“Ugh,” you sighed. “Someone’s going to ask the knights to do a welfare check on you if you keep talking like this.”

“Uh-oh, that wouldn’t be good. They’d probably walk in on you beating me.”

“Lohen.”
