Good morning 🌞 Growing up, the best thing that my Father ever taught me to do was to get on my knees and talk to my Heavenly Father. My Dad taught me how to pray the Word and how prayer was simply a conversation with God, just like I was talking to my earthly Father. When there are crisis in life, we are fortunate enough to have first responders to go in and extinguish fires or help those in need. The same is true of our spiritual life. Prayer is our first responder. It is what connects us to God and causes anxiety to cease when we pray in faith. Our first response to life’s gut punches should be on our knees. You may not have words, but tell God just that. Whatever is on your heart to say, cry out to your Heavenly Father who loves you. Prayer is not just for times of crisis, but should become part of our everyday life.
