Early concept sketches of the Phillips Building from Saints Row 2!
Ok so weird/funny story! So I was replacing some blocks in a wall on The Phillips Building and what I found was a pig stuck in a glass block. Now this would be reasonable, some of the paths in Minecraft have a few bugs in them and animals sometimes clip into blocks but the pig was 30+ blocks up one of the towers.
Weird huh?
Set Backs!
I may have to spend the next few days rebuilding the roof as it looks... terrible. Also, upon inspecting the actual building, the two towers at the back need to be smaller than the front tower on the left.
So I may not be posting for about a week as I'll be cleaning up all these problems.
Just another little update:
Vogel's office is currently being constructed (as the picture shows).
After the entire building is finished, it's going to have to sit in an empty world for a couple of years until Mojang decide to raise the build limit by about 30-40 blocks as when I put them in my city, half of the building goes through the ground, it is that tall!
Tower 6 now has all the sides constructed! Now to build Dane Vogel's office!
Good and Bad...
I've done a bit of thinking and it turns out that completely finishing the Phillips Building in Minecraft will take longer than I anticipated... a lot longer.
I've been working on it for 10 days now and I've only done around 34% because after the windows, I have to build the surrounding area and then I've got to implement it into my world which could mean I have to resize it.
Looking at the limited time I have and how long this is going to take. I'd say it'd be finished around December.
Note: I will not turn down this project.
Most of the neon lights complete!
Just an update.
Work on the final and tallest tower has begun and a few more things are being tweaked along with replacing orange clay with orange glass.
