favorite thing about them: The straight up duty and brotherly love for Raoul. I just…so many feelings…so many headcannons! I love the scene in the book where after Raoul confronts Mama Valerius about Christine’s “good angel” that he goes straight home to cry in Philippe’s arms and then Philippe tries to cheer him up by taking him out to dinner!
least favorite thing about them: That he brushes off Raoul’s claims about the Phantom, making Raoul not confide in him like he should towards the latter half of the book.
favorite line: A bit cliché but: “My dear fellow…you have fired at a cat.”
brOTP: Raoul and Philippe! Duh! They’re already brothers! ;p Although, there’s a phic out there with Erik (who is not deformed) as a good, brotherly friend of Philippe so I’m down for that too!
OTP: Philippe/Sorelli. I just want all the Philippe/Sorelli stories. All. Of. Them.
nOTP: I saw somewhere that there are apparently Raoul/Philippe slash phics? Ummmm…..sorry, we don’t do Flowers in the Attic in my house *pukes*
random headcanon: Welllll, I have LOTS but I’m also going to be putting most of them in Days of Glory so I don’t want to spoil anything! So…I guess one is that Philippe tries to get Raoul to learn the violin from Daddy Daaé that fateful summer at Perros because it was his mother’s dream for Philippe to play an instrument but he was absolutely rubbish at all of them, so him trying to get Raoul to be good at an instrument is his way of honoring their late mother’s wishes.
unpopular opinion: Ummm….I don’t think I have any that are unpopular? I do like the one that Philippe is unable to have kids and that is why he’s so insistent on making sure Raoul marries well!
song i associate with them: Tiny Dancer by Elton John is his and Sorelli’s SONG. One day I’m gonna write a soft 1970s AU with them based around this song. Don’t know when but I will.
