It is more likely that the future will belong to the sub-human rather than the superman. It is ridiculous to speak of a superman, since man has been surpassing himself since he existed, tearing himself away from his origins; but he only breaks away from it to fall back into it, and when he is the furthest from his beginnings, that is when he will fall lower than he has ever been. He will pay dearly for his desire to rise and surpass himself.  I see man shrinking more and more, until there is nothing left of him.

Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss

You know...I REALLY like the animation style. I love the voice work. Moxxie is super fun and relatable. But...

There’s something everyone kinda ignored. The whole point of Hazbin Hotel is that our beloved sweet main characters think even people in Hell deserve a second chance at redemption, and they just need a place to reform, which she’ll provide.

But...Helluva Boss literally undercuts this message. The very CONCEPT does. 

Think about it. Helluva Boss shows demons are literally able to just casually go up to Earth at ANY. TIME. And kill ANYONE. Even KIDS. And they’re not ALL gonna turn out to be secret evil Devil-worshipping cannibals like in the first episode! 

What happens when a guy who went to Hell for beating his wife says “I want you guys to finish the job and get that bitch who called the cops on me?”

 What happens when a girlfriend who’s furious at her ex-boyfriend and who tried to kill him and failed says “Hey, can you guys kill him and his new girlfriend for me”?

What happens when a dictator says “I’d like you to murder the prosecutor who threw the book at me and got me sent to jail where I was hanged for war crimes”? 

What happens when some shithead teen who was a REAL scumbag goes “Can you kill the cops that shot me dead because I was threatening to blow the brains out of a convenience store worker cuz she wouldn’t give me the cash in the register”? 

They’re gonna say yes and take the money! It’s not like anyone BUT Moxxie objected to the idea of killing kids or a (until they found out how horribly untrue it was) innocent family. 

So if an organization in Hell can LITERALLY KILL ANYONE ON EARTH AT ANY TIME...that’s kinda proof the people of Hell DON’T DESERVE a second chance. Not when they’re still down in Hell killing people! No WONDER Heaven’s been doing cleansings and the like, you guys down in Hell are still an active threat to the fucking world! Did NOBODY take Viziepop aside and go ‘Aren’t we kinda proving that your main character’s goal is bullshit through the second show and showing Heaven has every right to keep going down to Hell to kill demons if the demons are STILL killing folks on Earth”?
