Thya: IDK where else to go. I was stupid and got my FFXIV account phished, and did not have 2FA enabled because I was stupid. Because I was further stupid, I did not have my legal name as my name for my Square Account.

These myriad of stupid actions mean that I cannot get my FFXIV account back from Square, because their demands included:

A legal name change to my chosen name, a process which costs hundreds of dollars and will take weeks or months.

Resetting my password, even though I already explained that the phisher set up 2FA on my account, preventing me from resetting my password.

I am very desperate and very upset and need to reach out wherever I can so that Square customer support listens. Yes, I AM STUPID, AND WAS STUPID, AND KNOW THAT.

PLEASE ENABLE 2FA ON Y'ALLS ACCOUNTS AND DON'T BE STUPID LIKE ME. Just please help me get my account back.
