A smile graced Hope’s lips as she looked him over, reaching out to grab his hand in her own. “Well, I have all the time in the world to spend with you.” They could do what they talked about, backpacking and so much more. “As soon as you graduate we’ll leave.” No more monsters would be coming for them so it was the perfect time. Money wouldn’t be an issue either, since it was no shock that the Mikaelson family were loaded. “We can travel for as long as we want.”

Communication is key, and even Hope knows that. Head tilted to the side and she gives him her undivided attention, hands reaching over to take his in her own. “Then tell me, you can tell me anything.” And she meant it, anything he needed to say. “I’m here for you.” With anyone else she was distant, but it had always been different with Landon, she was comfortable enough to open up and let her true personality shine through. “Though I’m not going to guarantee anyone’s safety if they hurt you.” Her eyes scanned over his body to check for any marks.
