A little hamlet called དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ཐང་ (dkyil 'khor thang) is located within the enormous Phobjikha valley. This village was formerly known as Karzhingnang, according to the book kun mkhyen klong chen rab 'byams kyi gdan sa chags rabs by KMT printing press. The village is thought to have acquired its current name after a devotee from this village asked the treasure revealer to bless them during Tertoen Pema Lingpa's visit. The lama consented to grant them the blessing of Lama Norbu Jamtsho. During the procedure, Lama Norbu Jamtsho's mandala on the slope above the settlement emerged by itself.
