"Phoebe, hey," Ravi greets, sound a little unsure in whether or not he even should. He hadn't seen much of Phoebe since their ill-fated attempt at a relationship and despite how long it had been since then, he was never wholly sure of how to act around her, "I did not expect to see you tonight, but it's cool that you are."

Alastair had been doing a thorough spring clean, knowing that his mom was visiting and going to stay with him for a while. He didn’t want her to find anything that he didn’t want her to see. In the process of cleaning, he came across a bunch of old stuff that belonged to Phoebe. Which meant.... that he was going to have to see her.

Seeing Phoebe was awkward for Alastair and he hated how he felt when he did see her. It had been his fault that they’d divorced. He could’ve gone about things in a better way.

And now here he was, stood on her door step with a box of her things in his arms waiting for her to open the door.
