All she needed to do was to get to the family safe...a collection of the family fortune...money..jewelry. rare family heirlooms.
she was not dressed for the cold Gotham weather. She wore a short silver metallic dress with a plunging neckline with a pair of heels that could break any woman's ankles. she swiftly picked the lock of the kitchen back door.
Hopefully no one would be home. The last person she wanted to see was her family..

The Night in Gotham was cold and unforgiving it was the dead of winter Her feet where killing her in her damn heels as she stumbled out of the club. She sat down on the curb of some corner not that too far from one of Gotham's many seedy nightclubs and strip clubs. She had just finished her shift.
She was freezing in her dress and heels. She smelled of lavender and cigarette's.
She counted the crumbled up bills in her hand...she only had enough money to either buy some cheap take out for a very late dinner or call a taxi to give her a lift home.
Either get a ride home and go home hungry OR get food but walk home for the next two hours.
She bit her lip her red lips glistening in the flickering streetlight.
"Fuck ...I need money." mumbled Phoebe as she stood up.
Prompt # 1 "Spiral"
"It's always been easy for you to handle your shit. Your heart is practically made of stone. I sadly am not as strong as you, something you have been pointing out to me for years!" She snapped and hiccupped as she wiped a stray tear that dared to roll down her cheek, as she bought the whisky bottle to her shivering lips, huddled underneath rags as the snow stung her bare feet.
The rain came down without a shred of mercy.it was pouring buckets and buckets of rain.
Phoebe,sat huddled under a makeshift tent made out of cardboard, plastic crates and an old blue tarp.
The flickering hazy streetlight shinned through the rain like a dying shooting star.
Phoebe in her short silver skin tight cocktail dress that hugged her waifish Frame and Black heels that shined like the shells of beetles,sat huddled under the shelter, freezing.
Her choppy black hair framed her pixie like features.
The sound of footsteps approaching caught her attention and then they stopped,she looked up.

Prologue-Some Years Ago-:
Project Cadmus had a wide variety of projects and experiments under their belt, metahumans and enough political power to make the world's leaders quake in their boots.
Amanda Waller, rarely or if ever took any interest in the metahumans that the facility produced or trained. But there was one child that caught her eye a girl by the name of Phoebe Wayne, who had the superpower known as Crystal Mimicry, the ability to transform one's entire body or specific limbs into pure crystalline substance.
Project Cadmus had taken her in when she was a newborn baby, her mother shortly after giving birth to the child abandoned her after discovering her child's manifestation of her powers. Her birth certificate simply said Phoebe Wayne, birthday October 31st and a child, the product of a love affair between Thomas Wayne and an unknown Maid.
The only ones to know of this young lady's existence where the doctors and scientist that worked for Cadmus.
Not, even Bruce Wayne knew he had a stepsister.
Present Day-Cadmus Lab:
The alarms where blaring and the staff where scrambling to escape the building, from what Phoebe could see from her holding chamber bedroom window.
Phoebe Wayne, no older then 19 years of age laid on the floor of her pure white barren bedroom, drawing on the floor with bright colorful chalk, doodling things she had seen in books she was allowed to read, scribbled on the floor was an assortment of mundane things such as flowers, cars, people, food, ocean, birds.
Things, she could only dream about. A loud explosion echoed through the faculty and panicked shouting echoed through the hallways.
Phoebe rose to her feet, as a gaggle of footsteps seemed to be drawing closer to her room followed by muffled shouting.
She Took a defensive stance, and in less than a blink of an eye her skin changed from soft warm flesh to sturdy almost glistening pale diaphanous crystal.
Her Bedroom Metallic door blew off its hinges and flew across the bare bedroom.
"Black Sheep"
Phoebe, the black sheep, the little hell raiser of Gotham was her nickname.
The media reported and took diabolical delight in her spiral of self-destruction. Here, she was laying on some filthy mattress, thread bound blanket, empty bottles of liquor and other illegal substance along with trash lined the floor. This abandoned building was a popular shelter for the homeless and drug addicts, The lost and forgotten of Gotham. She only the clothes on her back which consisted of a black lace up high neckline crop top that showed off her midriff and a high waisted leopard print pencil skirt and a pair of black fishnet tights.
It was the dead of winter in gotham.
Footsteps approached closer to her then coming to a stop mere inches away from her makeshift shelter. Phoebe curled under a thin blanket slowly opened her tired eyes.
"Fuck off, if your cop." snarled Phoebe as she sat and glared with bloodshot tired eyes at the person in front of her.
