Could you talk more about Phoenix Barton?
Absolutely!
So if you’ve seen some of my ships you know I’m a big fan of polyamory, and Phoenix and her siblings came about as a result of me deciding Clint, Laura, Natasha, and Bucky would be perfect together.
The kids in order are Cooper (Claura, canon, born 2005), Lila (Claura, canon, born 2007), Natasha (Claura, canon but she came out as trans because i liked that one headcanon, born 2015), Phoenix (Clintasha, oc, born 2017), Anastasia (Winterwidos, oc, born 2019), and Buffy (Laurky, oc, born 2022). And there’s like an 80% chance I’ll come up with another eventually.
Phoenix is basically the only one of the kids who wants a normal-normal life, but being the child of multiple avengers, she ended up the target of kidnapping. Ever since then she’s been very determined to protect herself and learned all kinds of fighting styles from her parents.
She’s totally the bubbly type, but her upbringing puts her somewhere between cloudcuckoolander and only sane man. When she grows up, she ends up becoming a museum docent and teaches some martial arts classes on the side. A few alphabet soup agencies come around trying to recruit her, but she turns them down every time.
