Another thought! When Marvin comes out of his room after using phoneix magic, his body takes on some physical traits of birds. His fingernails are sharp, his eyes as black as a falcon's. It unnerved Marvin at first but then he found it was useful for getting a rowdy Anti to behave or to get Chase to stop doing dangerous stunts for videos.
Anti or Chase are up to some shit and then Marvin comes in like
So you know how it's a common headcanon that Marvin has cat like behaviors even in his human form? Think he'd start adopting bird like behaviors as he uses more and more of his phoenix abilities? It'd be little things at first like catching his reflection in the mirror and stopping to stare at it, mimicking the other Septics singing though Marvin whistles, and gradually grow until everyone finally realizes what's happening.
Yes! I absolutely agree with this! He still has catlike tendencies but it's not long before those birds habits start to show up
Would Marvin have to go through the rebirth process when his phoenix abilities have become really strong? If so a Phoenix's magic is actually at its strongest right before a rebirth, sometimes letting lose random uncontrollable bursts of magic if the phoenix is young and inexperienced.
I'd like to believe so! But instead of dying or turning to ash (since Marvin can't die as long as the community remembers him), his fire abilities would just be weak and he can only perform smoke-related magic until the next "rebirth".
It's every 100 days it happens so for a while he won't have to worry about it.
The mention of grooming just gave me an idea. Marvin having actual wings at least some of the time and him preening them, sometimes letting others help with preening if he has a strong bond with them cuz letting another being preen your wings is an intimate thing.
