Kiana’s Birthday! The girls invited Phoenix and Kōji to the party so all the kids could meet and hang out. Unfortunately, Kōji was still recovering from a bout of gastroenteritis (I was scared for a moment, but he’s fine) and wasn’t feeling great, but everyone had fun… until right after blowing out the candles 😃

So this happened. I was having everyone grab a slice of cake when Pandora suddenly decided it was a good time to die. Of sadness. Why was she sad? BECAUSE OF STERLING. In game, only 24 hours had passed since Sterling died when I threw the birthdays, and honestly, I didn’t realize she was THAT sad lmao. But well, like I’ve said many times, I don’t bring anyone back from the dead unless there’s a reason... those are my own rules. Since Pandora technically completed all her goals and I don’t have a valid reason to revive her, I’m afraid this is the end for the gen 6 heir 🙃

Phoenix has been living with Kōji for a few years now. They’re married (Phoenix isn’t a Pollock anymore... he’s a Sotto now, thanks game 😎), and they have a pair of twin girls! I’m pretty sure they have genetics from both parents? But looking at them, I can’t see a single trace of Phoenix’s genetics, so it’s possible Kōji just cloned himself twice. These Pollocks have weak af genetics. But hey, at least Apollo isn’t the youngest one in the family anymore 🥳

Why am I here? Phoenix: Just need a couple extra hands to clean up after they leave, that’s all. And you’re not as funny as you think, just so you know. Kōji: Well, you’re not as good at lying as you think. When I ask honestly, I like an honest answer. Would you like to try that answer again? Phoenix: I’m not lying, Kōji. Just wanted some help... You said you were free, so I called. Kōji: Yeah, we need to work on your honesty. Come here. Phoenix: What’re you doing now? Kōji: You called me for help, and you want a break from the the things outside, right? Let me give you something else to focus on since you keep lying to my face. Koji: Oh, you’re still here, Professor. Glad I found you. Would’ve been a shame to waste what I brought. Phoenix: Mr. Sotto? Jesus, you scared me. What are you doing here this late? Koji: Well, I told you I’d come back if you didn’t call, right? And since it’s too late for lunch, I brought dinner. I know you said you don’t do dinner, but you’re making an exception for me this time. Not really asking. Phoenix: Uh… wait, you actually bought dinner? I was about to head home. Koji: How was I supposed to know? When I called, someone answered saying her name was Nat and she was eighty-seven. So, Nataly, you and I are eating dinner. And you can’t say no. Giving me a fake number was kind of a dick move. Phoenix: Yeah, well… I regretted that once you left, but you were already gone. I figured it didn’t matter since you said you’d come back anyway, so… Koji: If you wanted to see me again, you could’ve just called. My number was real, by the way. Now move your stuff, I’m putting the food here.

Phoenix: Do you actually need help with that case? I looked at your references. Sorry about that, I was curious. You’re good at what you do and honestly, your judgment’s probably better than mine. Koji: I don’t need the help. I just like hearing other perspectives. And hey, it’s just a friendly dinner. You’re the one acting all serious, not me. Phoenix: I am not. And if you want to count on my perspective, maybe you shouldn’t have brought wine, Mr. Sotto. Koji: I told you to call me Koji. Phoenix: No, that’s too familiar. I barely know you. Koji: I can help you with that. Phoenix: How are you gonna-…? Koji: By making sure you don’t drink on an empty stomach. Open up. Koji: Well? How was it? Phoenix: It was fine, whatever.
