1965-1966 Dodge Phoenix – Aussie Original
zac oyama just cannot lose huh
Need Phoenix and Augbert to hang out and freak out at each other
So either Phoenix is another version of host!Vic like Augbert, in which case this is probably another dream in the fantasy interpretation
Or
Phoenix is some sort of symbolic representation of their confusion about life or perhaps a way to cope with the death of a loved one by creating a person who knows what happens when you die and would never leave them by becoming their cohost.
Thiiiiiiss episode, man! Thiiiiiss episode!!
The effects when Phoenix is fading! The envelopes? Ah!
Could Vic coughing up the letter be part of their curse? Just spit balling here.
I haven't actually finished the episode yet.
Who's letterman?
vip has a lot of little worldbuilding pieces from guests that i really adore -- other planes, fairytale creatures with rental homes, doomsday prophecies, fairies of new york, and so on -- but the idea of heaven as a formerly green place that's been deforested and the trees all ground up into paper to serve the needs of the living, its ghosts turned into mere messengers for the machine... i dunno. it's particularly fun to chew on. i love zac oyama's brain.
