Midday Matchmaker ~

Lunchtime at Konoha Academy. Frankly, the best time of the day, according to Ino's two friends: Shikamaru and Chouji.

However, since the pair of them had decided to skive school today (there was cross country running in the afternoon and the pair of them didn't want to do it), Ino was left to sit with nobody. Sakura was in the library and Karin was currently doing some experiments with their creepy chemistry teacher.

So it fell to Ino to find someone. Oh yes, the posh girl- Hinata. She was very quiet and arrived at the school with bodyguards. Why did they not hang out that much? Oh well, time to right those wrongs now.

Ino slid into a chair beside her and flashed her a winning smile. They chatted for a bit (mostly Ino filling her in on the details) and asked about her cousin, Hyuuga Neji.

"I hear that he likes someone. Is it true? Does he really like Tenten?" She leaned forwards eagerly, blue eyes glittering as Hinata finally opened her lips to answer-

Except the very girl they were talking about appeared into view. Tenten.

“Tenten, hiiii~” Ino waved at the girl. “Sit with us!”

Team Gai| phoenixborndragonraised

     Kushina waited patiently in the designated area to meet with Team Gai. It was not even eight in the morning, yet no one was here but her. Sitting on the target pole, legs crossed and dozing off a bit. She offered to train Gai’s team for him whilst he was on an important mission. They were at the edge of the Chunin examinations, anticipation was building in the village for Konoha 11. Naruto would have been training with his team, though he was off with Jiraiya for the past two years now. 

     She was familiar with the trio. Tenten took part in the kunoichi classes while in the Academy. There, she met the bun-headed child who had a fascination in weapons. Kushina and Minato were familiar with the Hyuga Clan, though they saw them on occasions. Such as checking with them after Hinata was almost kidnapped. The redhead saw a child peering in with curiosity, though disappeared upon eye contact. Lee was one of Naruto’s few friends that had came to the house for birthday parties or sleepovers. 

     “Yosh, we are here!” A boastful voice was heard. Her snapped up, glancing down at the team. Lee held his hand to his forehead in a solute gesture, dark eyes intently staring at her. “What intense training regimen is in store for today? I heard you are an impressive sensei! It’s a shock that you don’t have a team of your own, Kushina-sama!” 

     So word was still going around? Kushina had experience training several students, especially Minato’s students when they were younger. She even trained Naruto during the Academy and his early genin years. The only thing that held the Yondaime back from giving her a team, was her temper. She lashed out at times. “What does Gai usually do for you all for warm up?” The redhead eyed the other team members.
