I watched the Friday trilogy last night with some friends cracking up and remembering John "Pops" Witherspoon! It reminded me of the time #Prince asked the question: What is Pho? Which stirred up a fun conversation about what people thought it was! Of course, #Prince was referring to the local Minneapolis band #PHOfunk, whom he had invited to play at the Piano and a Microphone Gala Weekend Party. #Prince was definitely a fan of Pops as he used his image in a tweet inviting us to check out one of their videos!
