FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
Holy crap. I got my enrollment package for benefits in the mail last week. I went over it with Nick yesterday, and went online today to enroll. No go. So I call the support line and the woman tells me - in a horrible accent and with people screaming in the background - that I was to enroll within the first 30 days. Well... I've been there since February and just got my benefits package last week. So she kind of stays silent for a moment and says "I'm not sure what you would like me to do..." I raptor screamed in my head and then calmly asked her to override and enroll me on her end. Which she did. After a 15 minute information-taking session that made me want to kill myself. Then she tells me this is merely a "request" to enroll us. I asked "well how do I know if it went through?" and she responded with "well, you can call on Monday because it takes 24 hours and we're not in the office all weekend" and hung up.
I hate everything involving working for a corporation right now.
