Happy New Year’s Eve 😘
Out for dinner with a friend tonight. Things are good. The husband’s recovery has been so strong. He went back to work the week before Thanksgiving. He’s working with a personal trainer twice a week, getting his steps in, and sticking to a much healthier diet.
I’m still not working but planning to start a small financial planning business in the new year once my baby turns one and starts daycare. I’m nerrrrvous but am giving myself six months to try to make something of it before I go back to a steady corporate job if it doesn’t pan out.
This is my favorite season. We’re having our annual Christmas party this weekend, and hosting a big Christmas Day brunch for both sides of the family. My brother bought a house and my dad is moving in with him from California. Lots of good things happening.

We’re at a pickleball restaurant, so I’m about to play for the first time once this little man is fed.
