Do you ever get the itch to go back and revisit old worlds? Like if a stray Phonogram idea crosses your mind or the voice of a familiar god starts crooning to you?
Phonogram is the one which it happens to most. Phonogram was less a story, and more a way of seeing the world. Things happen and I think "that's a phonogram story." That will happen all my life, as music is magic, from the cradle to the grave.
(The other thing about Phonogram is that it also is flexible enough that I could abstractly take that kind of perspective and use it in other material - there's certainly bits of Phonogram-y thought in The Power Fantasy, here and there.)
Very little with the gods. The voices come back, but it's not a story.
