"On September 24th, 2014 at the Bernal Heights Library in San Francisco, Phonographic Memory began. Five presenters with a record and a coinciding story, sharing music and memories in a live public event."
My friend Corey Bloom produces this monthly exchange of music and stories at the Bernal Heights Library in SF, and he asked me to present at the inaugural event, back in September of last year. Needless to say, as a fan of both vinyl records and storytelling—two of my favorite things, really—I was thrilled to be included. The PhonographicMemory.org site just launched, and with it the published podcast of that first installment of this great event series. Give it a spin.
Phonographic Memory is free, and happens at 7pm on the final Wednesday of every month at the Bernal Heights Branch of the SF Public Library (500 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110).
