Yes, this makes total sense. I hadn’t thought about it before, but Marta are the perfect band for sports synchs. They make for an especially great auditive backdrop for a badass sport such as roller derby.
Marta being the rough rock’n’roll option next to their softer sounding colleagues of Polkov and Farewell Dear Ghost, it seems the Styrian music scene currently resists the electronic trend entirely and continues to focus on their more traditional version of indie.
