about phosial !

so, the original meaning of phosial has changed from what we originally coined it for, but we don't mind it too much. i figured i'd make a post regarding the differences between the two definitions & how they work

the image above is the original definition of phosial - a term to describe what light one's gender (which is seperate from the phosial term itself) is lit by. someone could be a phoslunial man, meaning their gender (man) is lit by the moon. their gender may or may not be related to the moon or moonlight, but that is the light that it is in.

additionally! because this definition of phosial is more of a modifier for genders than as genders themselves, phosial can also apply to other types of labels! the example above could also be a phoslunial werewolf kin, or their whole identity could be lit by the moon (& thus be phoslunial) ! its really up to the user how they use it.

however, the image above is how many people have been using phosial, at least to my understanding. the definition of the gender itself is that it is lit by some light. to use the same example, a phoslunial man could be both phoslunial & a man, and their gender may or may not be related to the moon.

some people use phosials to just mean a gender connection to a certain kind of light - that's fine too. & there may be people who use phosial in another way, and that's fine also!

all three definitions are fine by us and entirely correct! this post is just to clarify the different meanings of the term. i hope this makes sense, please send in an ask if you have any questions!
