This is an environmental portrait of Tshepang, who is a singer at church. It was shot at kibler park. I was inspired to take this image because music has the power to change a person’s mood and I wanted to portray that in my image and capturing her at the moment I did does portray that. I love that the background is clean because it allows the viewer to pay attention to the mood of the image without being disturbed by other objects behind her.
