Favorite time of the year 💙 This is usually when I start reflecting on the year that was and realise how much I grew. 2019 has undoubtedly been a year of immense growth; maybe more than I've ever seen in myself within a year. Clouds. That's where it all started. Around 5 years ago, in a silly hashtag in a little fandom group on Facebook. That's where my love and appreciation for photography and cloudy skies began. The love has only grown since then. Photography helped me explore parts of myself, without having to be in front of the lens. My eyes now focus on the beauty and framing in every situation. This hobby has helped me feel visible, has given an outlet to my creative itches and has even inspired my writing on multiple occasions. At my lowest, I've often visited pictures I feel are some of the best that I've clicked and they always make me feel a tad better about myself. (Also shout out to @oneplus_india @oneplus for creating this beautiful phone so that I can capture these pictures. And their amazing battery life) On this World Mental Health Day, I resolve to tend to my mental health. To focus on what helps me grow, and seek help when needed. I resolve to reach out to people and become a better listener. I will keep learning, for myself and for the people around me. Dear Sammy, I've been following your journey for almost a decade now and I'm grateful to have been audience to it. Your passion, faith and drive has often given me the hope I've needed in the darkest of hours. Sometimes it's important to realise that all you can do is play your part in others' stories and let them choose their course. Whatever it may be. And when they direct you to exit, stage left; do it gracefully. You never know, they might resurrect your character. Play as many parts as you want, as many as you need.
